Bewitched by Mauritius

The island, set in its turquoise sea is an angel of peace and tranquility. Mauritius is situated in the Indian Ocean, approximately 2400 kilometers off the South East Coast of Africa with endless stretches of white sands. The country covers an area of 1865 square km with 330 kilometers of coastline. Discover this un- spoilt beauty as you drive to Curepipe and Chamarel for the scenic locations and nature attractions. Boat Excursions to different Islands offer spectacular views. During our holiday there came a point where I felt like this kid who was part of some ‘filmy’ expedition with lots of adrenaline rush. Some of these places and views are etched in my heart and memory for life. And to top it all Mauritius was not just about tranquility, it had a lot for the adventurers too! You can look forward to water sports and activities here including Undersea Walk, ParaSailingScooter, Tube rides etc. Also, you could go for Submarine ride where you get to discover the magic of marine life in total security. Then there is Casela Park of course; here you can see around 1500 birds of over 150 species and a variety of animals. You get to touch the animals, can go for Safari or enjoy Segway, Quad /Buggy rides etc. But our highest point was Walk with the Lions experience.  It was just extraordinary. You must try it if you can.

Mauritius should definitely be on top of your ultimate travel bucket list :)
